Further Sensor devices (analogue systems and others)

For motion analyses (gait and running analyses for example) further sensor devices are often connected to the Simi System in order to get more detailed information about the mechanism of biomechanics.

EMG systems 

Miscellaneous EMG devices can be integrated in and synchronized with Simi to evaluate not only kinematics and motion but also muscular strenght. In principle every EMG system can be integrated in Simi. These are a couple of systems we have already worked with:

force plates

Force plates are used to measure ground reaction forces effecting the body. The ground reaction force in combination with motion kinematic and leverages show the effect of gravity on the joints and are therefore an important factor in many analyses. In principle every force plate can be integrated in Simi. These are a couple of systems we usually work with:

foot pressure systems

Foot pressure systems are used to measure the pressure distribution of the contact area (mostly of the foot). Unlike force plate measurements, which only have one single target point, pressure measurements show the power distribution on the whole contact area. These manufacturers are integrated in the Simi system:
